Capt. Travis Yaeckel | Instinct Fishing Co
Capt. Travis Yaeckel owns and operates a local fishing charter business, Instinct Fishing Co. in Ruskin, Florida. Growing up on the South Shore of Tampa Bay and spending over 12yrs competitive redfishing, Travis has 25yrs honing his skills as an angler and knowledge of the fisheries throughout the Southeast US. He enjoys sharing his passion for the outdoors and the art of fishing. From his dock and headquarters in Little Harbor Resort, he provides clients with all-inclusive inshore and backcountry fishing trips for Snook, Redfish, Trout, & Tarpon. Between charter fishing with clients, scouting, and fishing tournaments, he spends around 300 days a year on the water.
Capt. Travis is a U.S.C.G. Licensed and Insured Captain and a member of the Florida Guides Association, National Association of Charter Boat Captains, Coastal Conservation Association and the South Shore Chamber of Commerce.
He also finds time to give back to the local community by hosting seminars at youth camps and local fishing clubs each year. When he is off the water and not talking fishing, most of his time is spent with his wife and young daughter.
